THE P29 PATROL BOAT

Ease of Dive: ease

This is a new wreck that was scuttled on the 24th of August 2007. Although it is very new it is a great dive and is already attracting marine life. With the bow at 32 mts and the stern at 27 mts it is a great dive for advanced open water and above. It is situated at Cirkewwa in the north of Malta and can be done as a two dive sequence along with the Rozi. A great addition to some very nice dive sites.

Built in Germany in the 1960's as a Mine sweeper. She arrive in Malta in 1997 and served as a Patrol Boat for the Maltese armed forces, until 2004 when she was decommissioned. In 2005 she was sold to the Malta Tourism Authority to be scuttled where she lies now.
